Philippines, Richest Country in the World?

In one of the article circulated around the net.  Is there any truth that the richest men the world in 1949 were Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz and Atty. Ferdinand E. Marcos?   It was told that they legitimately earned and owned 192,000 metric tons of gold from Tallano Clan and Maharlika Government, the remaining gold is still 400,000 metric tons, started as 720,000 metric tons from Tagean – Tallano gold.

Also 640,000 metric tons of Tallano gold was lent to the Vatican under Pope Pius XII.  How much really is 640,000 metric tons of gold? Olympic size swimming pool is 50 by 25 by 2 meters (Length x Width x Deep) using the given figure it is therefore contains 2,500 cubic meters of water.   Since gold is 19.3 times as dense as water, 2,500 times 19.3 is 48,250 metric tons. So you need 13.26 Olympic size swimming pools to hold that amount of gold.

According to BBC, in an article titled “How much gold is there in the world?" That the latest figure for all the gold in the world is 171,300 tonnes (tons) comes for Thomson Reuters GFMS, which produces an annual gold survey, but others only estimated only 155,244 tons (tonnes) 10% less than the assessment of Thomson Reuters GFMS.   James Turk says that all the gold that has been mined is still in existence in the above-ground stock.  The gold mined by the Romans 2,000 years ago is still being used today. National Geographic Brook Larmer says that “More than half of all humanity’s gold has been extracted in the past 50 years.” The world’s richest deposit are being depleted, the hundred mile long reefs in South Africa is now gone.

The article also wrote that the Yamashita treasure is 1.2 million metric tons, that is 24.87 olympic size swimming pool, practically there is no way you could hide that as a treasure.   It is 31,087 square meters two meters deep.

It was also said that the 30% commission of Marcos is 192,000 tons of gold and worth 4 Trillion dollars, then why the Philippines need to borrow $28.3 billion during Ferdinand Marcos martial law era?

If Marcos gold is deposited in Swiss bank is true, then why the gold reserve of Switzerland is listed only as 1,040.0 metric tonnes?
