The Truth About Nutribun, Bulgur and Klim Milk

What is Nutri-bun?

According to Wikipedia:  Nutribun (also referred to as Nutri-bun or Nutriban) is a bread product designed by the United States Agency for International Development and distributed under the USAID Food for Peace program.  The base bread is made of a wheat blend flour and non-fat dried milk donated by the United States under the PL 480 Title II Food Aid. Nutribun was famously distributed to malnourished Filipino children during the presidency of Ferdinand Marcos. The nutribun was initially developed in the early 1970s.

Nancy Dammann wrote in her book "My 17 Years With USAID: The Good and the Bad" said "a horrible bun made with high-vitamin, milk content flour invented by an AID official and donated by USAID"

This Nutribun is distributed in elementary school feeding programs as a ready-to-eat complete meal, due to the fact that a staggering 40 percent of all the nation’s death were caused by malnutrition.

IRRI is an independent, nonprofit, research and education institute.

Another credit grabbing post from Marcos loyalist.

According to IRRI website: http://irri.org/

IRRI is an independent, nonprofit, research and educational institute, founded in 1960 by the Ford and Rockefeller foundations.

The advocacy for rice research found serious and solid support from nongovernment organizations like the Rockefeller and Ford foundations. This came as the importance of rice as staple food of “half of mankind” became clear. Such was the precursor to the rising of a research and education complex in Los Baños, Laguna where the strongest academic institution on agriculture in Asia, the University of the Philippines College of Agriculture (UPCA), is located.

The Philippines raised its rice yields from 1.16 tons per hectare in 1960 to 3.59 tons per hectare in 2009. In 2009, Philippine rice yields were lower than the previous two years due to the damage done by the tropical storms "Ondoy" and "Pepeng". In 2007, average rice yield topped 3.8 tons per hectare and in 2008, was at 3.77 tons per hectare.

Average rice yield in the Philippines is also higher than of Thailand's, the world's biggest exporter of rice, where yields over the last few years have been around 3 tons per hectare.

The Philippine government, starting 2010, is implementing programs to support rice self-sufficiency. It is working closely with IRRI to help achieve these end. In 2011, the Philippine reduced its imports from 2,379,110 tons in 2010, to 707,670 tons in 2011.

Sabi ng shungang troll: UMALIS KAYO SA MGA REGION NG PILIPINAS FROM REGION 1-12, UMALIS KAYO SA NCR
June 20, 1964 – Republic Act No. 4156 is enacted. It changes the corporate name of MRRCo to Philippine National Railways (PNR)
In 1961, Don Eugenio López, Sr. acquired Meralco and finally making it wholly Filipino-owned.

Philippines, Richest Country in the World?

In one of the article circulated around the net.  Is there any truth that the richest men the world in 1949 were Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz and Atty. Ferdinand E. Marcos?   It was told that they legitimately earned and owned 192,000 metric tons of gold from Tallano Clan and Maharlika Government, the remaining gold is still 400,000 metric tons, started as 720,000 metric tons from Tagean – Tallano gold.

Also 640,000 metric tons of Tallano gold was lent to the Vatican under Pope Pius XII.  How much really is 640,000 metric tons of gold? Olympic size swimming pool is 50 by 25 by 2 meters (Length x Width x Deep) using the given figure it is therefore contains 2,500 cubic meters of water.   Since gold is 19.3 times as dense as water, 2,500 times 19.3 is 48,250 metric tons. So you need 13.26 Olympic size swimming pools to hold that amount of gold.

According to BBC, in an article titled “How much gold is there in the world?" That the latest figure for all the gold in the world is 171,300 tonnes (tons) comes for Thomson Reuters GFMS, which produces an annual gold survey, but others only estimated only 155,244 tons (tonnes) 10% less than the assessment of Thomson Reuters GFMS.   James Turk says that all the gold that has been mined is still in existence in the above-ground stock.  The gold mined by the Romans 2,000 years ago is still being used today. National Geographic Brook Larmer says that “More than half of all humanity’s gold has been extracted in the past 50 years.” The world’s richest deposit are being depleted, the hundred mile long reefs in South Africa is now gone.

The article also wrote that the Yamashita treasure is 1.2 million metric tons, that is 24.87 olympic size swimming pool, practically there is no way you could hide that as a treasure.   It is 31,087 square meters two meters deep.

It was also said that the 30% commission of Marcos is 192,000 tons of gold and worth 4 Trillion dollars, then why the Philippines need to borrow $28.3 billion during Ferdinand Marcos martial law era?

If Marcos gold is deposited in Swiss bank is true, then why the gold reserve of Switzerland is listed only as 1,040.0 metric tonnes?
